Yesterday, I went to Italian Restaurant with my friend who was same high school. This restaurant is located in Totsuka, Yokohama. Totsuka is town where I live in. At restaurant, I ate salad, spaghetti, spareribs and drink some cocktails. Interior decorations are very fafashonable and cool!!! If you visit Totsuka, I highly recommend you!! What's more, on the 2nd floor at this restaurant, you can enjoy live performance of Jazz♪ This time, I didn't go up 2nd floor but I want to go up next time.

Do you remember that I reported about Kimukatsu which is Pork cutlet. Today, I want to report about Miso-Katsu(味噌カツ) which is Miso flavor Pork cutlet, and Miso(味噌) is soybean paste which is Japanese traditional seasoning.
Miso-Katsu is one of famous food in Nagoya where is capital city in Aichi prefecture, Japan. When I go to EXPO Aichi, I will have a plan to stay at Nagoya city, so I'm going to eat them!!
I have heard some people who came from overseas hate smell of Miso. Do you know Miso?? If you know, do you like it??

I'm interesting about Pacific Islands Pavilion because we can drink 100% natural coconut juice which wastransported from Samoa or Palau by plane. After drinking, you can cut this coconut and eat meat of coconut. At this pavilion, coconut juice are sold 700 yen each. Have you ever drunk coconut juice?? I've tried coconut milk, but I've never tried coconut juice. I like coconut milk, this is why 'coconut juice' sounds tasty for me!!

At EXPO, there are many pavilion and events. I really want to see JR Central Pavilion. At this pavilion, visiters will be able to virtually experience a test run on the Yamanashi Linear Test Line via an image theater, a linear motor car on display and displays of technology.
A linear motor car reached a speed of 581 kph at the Yamanashi Linear Test Line—a world speed record for a manned rail car.
Do you want to ride real linear?? Actually, we can't ride real linear motor car at EXPO, just we can see virtually test run. However, we can participate in linear trial riding if you go to Yamanashi. Linear trial riding will be held on 4th, 5th, 6th, Aug which are available for sum of 1800 people. Besides, on 25th,26th, 27th, 31th, Aug which are available for sum of 1400 people.
If you want to paticipate in this linear trial riding, you need to apply for Central Japan Railway Company.
Of course, I'm going to apply it!!!

I love to drive a car so much!! I always go to driving(not short trip) with my friend about twice a year using rent a car, because I can drive latest models' car. I like Toyota and Honda(sorry Kumiko). Besides, I'm interested in French and Italian car, too. PEUJEOT, Alfa Romeo or Maserati. However I have never driven. I want to drive in the future!!

Over the time for 1 million years, corrosion and weathering are repeated and it is created better about a brilliant scene.
Tohno-Hetsuri is located in Fukushima, Japan. It takes 40min from British hills by car.
I have been to 2 times here in Fall and early spring. It was very very beautiful and I want to go here in summer next time if I have a chance!!

Fatty Tuna is called "Toro" in Japanese. Toro is one type of Sushi which is belly part of tuna. It's more fatty than other part of tuna.

Toro have two types. Chu-toro and Oh-toro. "Chu" means medium, and "Oh" means highest grade. So, Oh-toro is the highest grade of tuna and the most expensive. This pictures' fatty tuna is about 800yen (about 8 U.S. dollors) each. When you eat toro, you feel like it melt on your tongue. So you don't have to bite it!

The important thing is that toro is very rare part in tuna. It is able to be taken only few amount from a tuna.

Oh,because I talked about toro, I want to eat Toro!!!!!!!!!

British Hills is an accommodation which is located in Fukushima, Japan. I go to here once a year by car. Almost all the staff are native English speakers. In winter, skiing is available at ski resort which is located near the British Hills. At night, we can see beautiful stars in the sky.

I love roten-buro very much especialy in winter. Roten-buro is an onsen which is located outdoore. But don't worry, nobody who is outsider can see your naked body because usually there are blind fences.

What do you associate when you hear the word "fireworks"?? I think typical Japanese associate Summer, sea or rever, food stands, yukata(an informal cotton kimono for the summer season). Anyway, I like to go to see fireworks. Last year, I had gone to 3 times. Is this too much?? I think NO, because some of my friends had gone to 7 to 10 times last summer. It's 2 times a week!! I couldn't believe!! Do you have any plan to see fireworks this summer?? I'll introduce some events in this summer.

30th, July:Sumidagawa fireworks festival(東京・墨田区・台東区)

2nd, Aug:2005' Enoshima fireworks festival(神奈川・藤沢市)

6th, Aug:Exiting fireworks 2005' in Ichikawa-Edogawa(千葉・市川市)

The fireworks will be held almost everyday somewhere in this summer,according to my reserch.
Let's enjoy fireworks this summer with wering "yukata". But "yukata" for men is very expensive compare to womens'. Please let me know if you find "yukata"

Aqua-line is expressway between Kawasaki and Kisarazu. Aqua-line consists of about 10Km tunnel and 5Km bridge. Service area, Umi-hotaru(海ほたる), is located between tunnel and bridge. There are some restaurants, amusement arcade, and some shops.
The toll is 3,000 yen.

Kimukatsu is one of Tonkatsu(豚カツ) restaurant. "豚カツ" is Pork cutlet. The main is located near Ebisu St.,Yamanote line, and it takes about 7 minuts from the station by foot.
I've been to once, and I was impressed. Of course, 豚カツ was delicious. What's more, rice and julienne cabbage was very tasty, too!!!

Mon-Thur and holiday is opened 11:30am-10:30pm
Fry and Sat is opened 11:30am-2:00am

Do you like Shopping or watching movies?? I like shopping and watching movies! This mall,YOKOHAMA WORLD PORTERS, has many shops, restaurants and a movie theater(8 screens). When I come here, I always buy evening's cinema ticket and enjoy shopping and eating until the film started because on holiday, this movie theater always packed. This mall have cheaper goods than the Land Mark Tower's mall or the Queen's Square's mall. You can buy clothes, Jewelry, accessories, shoes, sundry goods and groceries.
My recommend restaurant (or should I say cafe') for lunch is "Taco Derio!" which is Mexican food restaurant located 1F. So I'm crazy about Tacos and Taco-rice (about 500 yen each). It's very tasty!!!! You can find this reataurant easily because there is a "MINI Cooper" in front of restaurant.
The other recommend restaurant for dinner is "L.A.S.T." which is located 5F. You can see great nice night view from your seet and eat delicious foods(South American and Mexican foods). Maybe I like Mexican food... But "L.A.S.T." is a little expencive. You might neeed 2000 yen or more(each parson).

KIHACHI ITALIAN is kind of fashionable restaurant. Of course you can eat delicious Italian dishes. But I recomend you to eat sweets such as cake or tarte while tea time (14:30-17:30). You need about 1,000 yen. Do you think it is expensive?? KIHACHI's cake or tarte will give you greate time with excellent coffee or tea!!!
Location is Queen's Tower East 2F which is located next to the Land Mark Tower.

If you come to MM21, the Land Mark Tower must be in your sight. It's Japan's tallest building, 296 meter. This building has shopping malls(B2-5F), restaurants(B2-5F), Hotel(49F-70F) and offices. I highly recomend you to visit "sky garden" which is located 69F in this building. You can see 360��view from 273 meter!! But it's not free. The fee is as follows.
Adult:1,000 yen
Adult(over 65):800 yen
High school:800 yen
child:500 yen
Infant(over 4) :200 yen
The other recommendation is hotel which name is Royal Park Hotel(the guest room is located 47F-67F). You can see great view from your rooom!! If you will stay this hotel, I hope the weather will be fine!! You can' t see outside because of fog or cloud if the weather is bad...

Today, I want to introduce "Minato-Mirai 21" in Yokohama. Minato(みなと)means "port", mirai (みらい) means"future" and 21 means "21st century". Minato-Mirai 21(MM21) is one of the most famous sightseeing spot in Yokohama. There are shopping malls, theme park, restaurants, cafes, parks, movie theaters, modern hotels and Hot spring amusement center(will be open 25th,June,2005).If you come to MM21, you can enjoy all day!!!
You can get here by train,car or bus. I recomend you to use train because MM21 is always trafic jam, especially on holiday. JR line and Minato-Mirai line are available. You can get off at Sakuragicho station (JR line) or at Minato Mirai station (Minato Mirai line).

Last week, I went to EPSON AQUA STADIUM which is the latest aquarium in Shinagawa. This aquarium was opened 8, April, 2005. There are 300 classes and 20,000 of sea animals!! What's more, we can see dolphin show and see lion show. I saw dolphin show because the sea lion show was full of people when I went to sea lion booth.
The dolphin show was great and interesting!! There were 4 dolphins and they have different character. The one dolphin didn't obey his trainer. It looked unusual for me.
This aquarium is opened 12:oopm to 10:00pm on weekdays and 10:00am to 10:00pn on Sat, Sun and holiday.
I recomend you should visit at night on weekdays because there will be crowded on holiday.
You can enter 1,800 yen for adult (over 16) and 1,000 yen for child (under 15).
